Your excursion begins with a photo stop near Sule Pagoda (landmark in the city centre) –is unusual in the style of pagodas, that its octagonal shape extends right up to the bell and inverted bowl, walking along the City center & seeing the Colonial buildings, then continue to Botahtaung Pagoda close to the Yangon river, a famous land-mark. Continue to National Museum (close on every Mondays) where the 8m-high Sihasana Palin (Lion Throne) can be seen, which belonged to the last Myanmar King Thibaw Min, and the other several interesting exhibits. Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda – which includes an enormous reclining Buddha, photo stop at Karaweik Hall & Royal Barge on the Kandawgyi lake (Royal Lake).In the evening time go and see the famous Shwedagon Pagoda, seeing and enjoying the life style of Myanmar Buddhists.
