Your excursion begins with a tour through Yangon includes Sule Pagoda (landmark in city centre) –is unusual in that its octagonal shape extends right up to the bell and inverted bowl, the City Hall & Colonial buildings, Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda – which includes an enormous reclining Buddha, photo stop at Karaweik Hall & Royal Barge on the Kandawgyi Royal Lake and visit the one of Yangon’s fabulous bazaars- an endless jumble of color, clamor, heady aromas and contraband goods.

Full day sightseeing tour by driving through Chinatown area and the Indian quarter where you can see Colonial Style Buildings, which is harmoniously mixed in the downtown area with famous and graceful pagoda, “Sule Pagoda” situated in the center of Yangon, and City Hall. Then continue to Botathaung Pagoda close to Yangon Waterfront, a famous land-mark. Continue to National Museum (close on every Mondays & Tuesdays) where the 8m-high Sihasana Palin (Lion Throne) can be seen, which belonged to King Thibaw Min, the last Burmese king and other several interesting exhibits. Then visit to the reclining Buddha at Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda. Free leisure time in the evening. Stay overnight at Hotel.

The Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott) has an enormous array of consumer goods. This will be a wonderful opportunity to pick up some handicrafts. Visit then the Kaba Aye Pagoda and continue to the riverside located Botataung Pagoda. At sunset, visit the marvelous Shwedagon Pagoda, the glistening golden stupa that towers over the capital and one of the wonders of the world, is the spiritual centre of the country.
